An exact reproduction of the
acclaimed Mullard ECC83 design, which was the tube
found in most high-quality musical instrument and
hi-fi amplifiers of the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. This tube
has a complex mica design using four insulators that
shock-mount the cathode to enhance stability and
sound quality. Excellent all-around sonic character that
adds vintage clarity and feel to any modern amp — a
slightly rounder, deeper and all-around warmer tone
with clarity. A lower-gain 12AX7 tube, it is a highly
musical, harmonically rich and an excellent performer.
